Why is it so hard to quantify circadian health?

Transcript

When you talk about circadian health, it's even harder to measure, because it's really very abstract. You can look at populations that perhaps live longer or healthier, but even then it's very difficult to put a price tag on that — and that's a real challenge.

The main thing, I think, is to approach it in a more qualitative way: helping people understand what they should do to have a healthier life. If you're looking at policymakers, then you need a price tag. But if you're simply looking at giving people a healthier lifestyle, then it's more of a qualitative approach to people.
