Why energy savings isn't the whole story.

What I'm hearing is that the cost of maintenance is coming from the facilities team, from the building operator. I think we're missing what those costs actually are when the lighting starts to go out — that's the real savings we should be talking about.

Traditionally, having been in the smart buildings world for a long time, we focus on energy savings because that's something assigned to the facilities operation — something the facilities operators have to spend out of their own budget.
