Lighting Assessment
Turn your building’s light into a case your board can defend.
Independent experts measure the light your occupants actually live under, then translate it into the financial language that survives value engineering. We don’t sell fixtures. We quantify what your light is costing you, and what better light is worth.
Why Earthlight
Independent lighting experts, translating research into financial intelligence
Experienced
Over a decade translating circadian lighting science into the financial language that owners, operators, and boards actually use to decide.
Research-backed
Our models are built on the most credible peer-reviewed lighting science and the recognized measurement standards the field has converged on.
Product-neutral
We're paid for the analysis, not the fixtures. The assessment is finished before any vendor is in the room, and when we help you source against it, a proposal clears on the performance it delivers, whoever it comes from.
The engagement
One visit, an evidence-grade baseline
Everything downstream (the comparison report, the pilot, the purchase) is built on this measurement. Experts on site, documenting the light your building actually delivers, in the same units the standards are written in.
The visit
Light Environment Assessment
An on-site visit. We document your building's actual light: lux levels, color temperature, spectra, the timing of light exposure across the occupied day, and the quality of darkness at night. We map circadian-disruption risk area by area, population by population.
You receive a written summary of where the building stands, in language your architect, clinical lead, and facilities team can all read.
What you receive
- Current lux levels and spectral readings
- Timing of light exposure across the occupied day
- Darkness quality at night
- Circadian-disruption risk mapped by area and population
- Written summary for architect, clinical, and facilities teams
What the measurement becomes
The assessment tells you where the building stands. Step 02 turns it into a decision: every realistic alternative modeled side by side, priced in the same units. See the comparison report →
Put the evidence on the table.
An independent assessment and a Facility Report your board can act on, before the specification is written.
