Stop placing your monitor light on top! 💡

Transcript

What you can see here is two light bars sitting next to your monitor. What we found out is that you need the light from the front, and the best place to deliver that light is from the nasal area to your retina. So you want it at the side of your field of view, rather than at the top of your monitor — because there it would shine straight into your eyes and could be distracting.

When you have it on the side, it still activates the right part of your retina to send the right signal to your biological clock, without the negative effects of looking directly into the light.
