Is working smart enough, or should we embrace working hard?

Anyone who cares a lot about what they're doing is constantly trying to refine their process — to make it easier, more resilient, and more reflective of reality.

I keep saying we want to work smart, not hard. But actually, I don't want to only work smart — I want to work hard. I will work hard. But I want to work smart from the beginning, to try and minimize the extent of the hard work.
